These Epiphone Matt Heafy Les Paul Custom Origins models come in both 6-string and 7-string versions. Along with left-handed models as well. First revealed back in January by Heafy, they are now finally available from today.
Matt Heafy Les Paul Custom Origins
The new Epiphone Matt Heafy Les Paul Custom Origins models were originally shown by Heafy during one of his live streams all the way back in January of this year. Now the model is finally available to pre-order and it looks like there are some great options. The Les Paul Custom style guitar is available in both 6-string and 7-string versions, in either Ebony or Bone White finishes, plus left-handed models on launch.
Bone White 6-string
Fishman Fluence
The Trivium guitarist’s signature guitars come with a set of custom-voiced MKH Fishman Fluence pickups. This means that the Alnico neck pickup has a modern, active, high-output Alnico humbucker tone, with two voices available. Plus via a coil tap a more glassy, scooped, hi-fi single-coil tone.
Whilst the ceramic bridge pickup offers a choice of modern, active, high-output ceramic-humbucker tone or high-output, passive ceramic-humbucker tone along with an overwound single-coil tone. Both 6-string and 7-string models offer these tones, so lots to choose from.

Hardware
The guitar has a mahogany body and a mahogany SpeedTaper D profile neck with an ebony fretboard with medium jumbo frets. They have a GraphTech nut and a set of Grover Locking Mini Rotomatic tuners with Tulip buttons, plus the Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop tail. Therefore, tuning should be rock solid across all models.
