Dreadbox has released a comprehensive glimpse of a new synthesizer that we’re presuming we’ll see at Superbooth this week. It’s the semi-modular analogue NYX V2.
This new and enhanced version builds on the look and the functionality of the original and appears to push it into deeper directions. It still has the doubling up of the original with dual oscillators, dual filters and dual modulators LFOs or envelopes. The Reverb looks like a much larger space and there’s also some Sample & Hold modulation. The patch bay looks much bigger than the original making it far more integrateble with a larger modular system.
The rest of the detail will come at the show but it’s already looking like a nice bit of kit.
