The Crazy Tube Circuits Motherload combines two of the most legendary distortion or Fuzz effect pedals: EHX Big Muff and ProCo Rat. Combined they offer a more flexible set of drive and fuzz tones.
Crazy Tube Circuits Motherload
The Greek pedal forge Crazy Tube Circuits, CTC for short, has a new pedal at the start. The Motherload connects two well-known fuzz or Distortion circuits, which are often called thick, and creamy. We are talking about the Big Muff and the Rat. However, the pedal goes a little further than just moving both circuits into one housing.

Both pedals are switched via a toggle switch in the middle, and Volume and Gain knobs. Below them are controls for Tone and Voice, which are only active in Muff mode, and Filter, which is only active in Rat mode. Finally, the Voice knob is supposed to sweep through the different muff variants.

Another special feature is the Link EQ mode, with which the three lower controls are connected via a push button and are active in both effects. As a result, even more, sounds should be possible with both effects.
The video demo below sounds rich and full, with plenty of dirt. I can see this being used by a lot of guitarists, as it offers two of the nicest distortion circuits from the past and adds more flexibility.
