The Coma Tone guitar pedal is advertised as follows: “It doesn’t do anything. It doesn’t need to.” So, perfect for guitar tone purists, then.

You can watch Henning Pauly demonstrate the new Coma Tone pedal by Shy Boyz in the YouTube video below. It comes packaged in a very fancy wooden box and is part of the Kickstarter campaign for the band’s upcoming second album, entitled 2 Stupid 2 Quit. The pedal’s unusual name is inspired by the unfortunate medical condition of one of the band, guitar gear expert and YouTube celebrity influencer Billy Cardigan.

The pedal itself is true bypass and has a footswitch to operate the status LED. It has top mounted input/output jacks and so will fit comfortably onto your pedalboard with no issues. Other than this, it does absolutely nothing. Except cost $1000, as it is issued in a very limited edition (of 1).
