Celestial, a FREE Christmas gift sound design plug-in by Acustica
Acustica describes Celestial as a plug-in for creative sound design that features texturizing and psycho-acoustic effects among other nice things like eq, dynamics and filtering. The plug-in is based on a UK-manufactured piece of hardware that’s in use by mixing and mastering engineers as a character processor.
The Texture Mic Processor features a Teal Staging control for its drive and harmonic saturation section. Other interesting additions are an eliptical stereo filter with dimension control, a crossover filter for the compressor in which only a higher portion of the spectrum is affected, and a preamp emulation with output transformer for additional saturation.
