KHDK Electronics has revealed the Annihilator II, its second iteration of the Annihilator. This two-in-one octave-down and boost pedal is the signature stompbox for Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein.

The Annihilator II is the updated signature pedal for Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein and now comes in a glow-in-the-dark finish just in time for Halloween. KHDK’s limited-edition Annihilator II also features a portrait of von Frankenstein. This pedal has a new precision octatone control and also features a fully independent boost circuit.

Misfits Tone
The Misfits guitarist is well known for his unflinching, in-your-face guitar tone and this pedal will take you there. The circuit of the pedal contains the independent octave down and boost effects. Along with the new Octatone control letting players shape their octave sounds to taste.
Controls for the pedal are pretty simple, thankfully and with Direct, Octave and the aforementioned Octatone for the octave section. Plus a solitary Boost control for the boost section. I love simplicity with effect pedals and this ticks that box perfectly. Whereas, the previous incarnation had Direct, Octave, Blender and Pre Boost controls.
Misfits in a box?
Limited Edition
These pedals are limited to only 250 units. Each one comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity signed by von Frankenstein himself. The new simplified Boost section looks great to me and having the extra control for the octave side is also a neat idea in my opinion.
Pity, it is a limited edition, as it looks to be a well-thought-out design and I am a sucker for stuff that glows-in-the-dark.
