Just how exactly does it do that? Details are a little on the light side but the Polyend Preset basically records CV values, saves it and sends it back out on demand.

Polyend Preset will recall up to 9 different CV output values. These could be notes (1v/oct), gates, constant values or recorded CV automation. So if you think about it you could record into Preset the output of your sequencer, the sweep of your cutoff, the output of your logic combined modulation sources. And then these can be recalled and pumped out of one of the 9 Preset CV outputs. You could almost build a performance into it.

There are 32 banks of 32 presets and they can even be selected by CV. Each recording of voltage can be up to 30 seconds in length which is easily a verse or a chorus worth of time. It also has 32 musical scales on board which I guess you can apply to recorded notes – I’m not sure exactly.

The interface is simple, clean and looks as cool and streamlined as their other products. This could be very interesting indeed and I’m looking forward to seeing a video on it.
