Korg celebrates 10 years of the nanoSERIES MIDI controllers with a splash of colour
They’re fun, they are fruity in groovy new colours, these are Korg’s exciting anniversary editions of the nanoSERIES MIDI controllers. Such fun!

They have no additional features, no innovations and will probably get you laughed at by your more traditional mates. But you don’t care because you’re different. You move in different circles, dancing to the beat of a different drum. You like dangly earrings, loud shirts and loved a bit of Timmy Mallet on the telly back in the day. It’s like we’re back in the 80’s with Bermuda shorts and a perm of uncontrollable hair. Is it about reinventing the retro fascination with Fisher-Price circuit bending? Or is it simply because we are very very bored of grey, black and white MIDI controllers and it’s about bleedin’ time someone followed Moogs Grandmother into the diverse world of colour.
Korg says it’s something about reflecting the tones of DAW software – but that’s the most boring reason ever. It should be because they got drunk in a Mexican bar and found themselves trapped by Swedish designers in a cinema playing only the PowerRangers.
