Way Huge Jumbo Fuzz Swollen Pickle XXX: 30 Years of Pickle!
Jeorge Tripps Re-Pickles the Fuzz for its 30th Birthday

At NAMM, the new Jumbo Fuzz Swollen Pickle XXX was announced to celebrate 30 years of the filthy green fuzz pedal at Way Huge.
Jumbo Fuzz Swollen Pickle XXX
Way Huge is known for making some great stompboxes, and their Swollen Pickle is a fan favourite, with guitars and bass players both utilising it for crushing riffs and filthy fuzz madness. I’ve owned one for years, and it gets a lot of use in the studio because it’s great for sculpting dirt tones.
Special Edition
Now, in 2026, the pedal has been around for 30 years in one form or another, so Jeorge Tripps has issued a limited-edition run of the Jumbo Fuzz Swollen Pickle XXX, featuring a tweaked circuit and a new look with distinctive graphics.
So What is Different?
The XXX steps up the performance with high-gain transistors and replaces the compression knob with a high-speed toggle for instant response. Its redesigned tone stack offers surgical precision through dedicated Hi/Lo controls and customisable internal switches (much like the standard model, which also has hidden DIP switches).
Limited Edition
Way Huge officially states it as a limited-edition release celebrating the 30th anniversary of the pedal. However, they have not (as yet) released figures on how many they plan to produce, so if you want one, maybe don’t hang around too long.
Who is it for?
Way Huge already has an avid fanbase; some collect, while others focus on certain pedal types. This special edition will attract both those who love extreme fuzz/distortion. I’m sure many will want to check out this new version.
It works well with guitars, bass, and synths, making it a great tool in the studio and for live work.
Price & Availability
The new Jumbo Fuzz Swollen Pickle XXX is available to order from Thomann, priced at $216/£192/€219.
