Whether it’s providing affordable recording solutions for musicians or innovating with cutting-edge audio designs, Austrian Audio prides itself on delivering the level of quality the price tag suggests.

The Arranger uses an open-back design with a 44 mm high-excursion driver with a low-friction DLC coating on the diaphragm, as well as a proprietary ring magnet. In development, this design has been refined to deliver extremely low distortion levels and pristinely accurate transient articulation with low-end clarity all the way down to 5 Hz, according to the manufacturer.

For comfort, the ear pads are made from soft suede leatherette, while the metal frame is ruggedly constructed for long-lasting durability. Meanwhile, the convenient foldable design makes The Arranger ideal for travel, so you no longer have to compromise your standards as an audio snob, even on lengthy flights.

The rather lofty spec sheet points out that the frequency range is 5Hz – 30 kHz, which is a relatively standard claim for headphones in this class, while the sensitivity is rated at 110dBspl/V. One thing that is useful noting, though, is the low impedance rating (25Ω). This enables you to use The Arranger with any consumer or professional audio device and achieve optimal performance.

Overall, The Arranger seems like an impressive option for the price, especially since the design is focussed on serviceability, allowing you to replace all the parts. In this price range, one can only wonder how these headphones will perform against similar options from Focal and Audeze.
