W.A. Production Vocal Cleaner: An all-in-one vocal processing plug-in
Plug-in developer W.A. Production presents a new restoration and optimization plug-in to improve our vocal recordings. Vocal Cleaner is a multi-effects tool that includes several sections for post-processing vocals. And you can use them very easily and intuitively. There is also a de-noiser, de-esser, and a noise gate. Additionally, there are a high- and low-pass filter and a presence control. That sounds like a Swiss knife for vocals!

You probably know that vocal recordings are rarely perfect. Clicks, pops, scratches, noises, hissing, and unwanted low-frequency vibrations can drive every music producer crazy. Fortunately, there are a number of tools that are designed to make our lives easier. Equalizers, compressors and gates are the magic bullets. But you have to be able to use them perfectly first. And which order is the right one?
WA Production would like to put an end to this now. With its new multi-effects plug-in, you get all the essential elements for this kind work delivered in a single package. The parameters are optimized so that you only have to adjust strength (amount). The De-Noiser, De-Esser, Gate, high/low-pass filters and an automatic equalizer (with three optimization modes: Bright, Normal and Dark) are integrated. The graphic display (VU meter) for the three compressor areas is very nice as well! Of course, the Dry / Wet ratio and the output volume can also be adjusted. The rest is done by algorithms in the background.
Prices and dates
WA Production Vocal Cleaner is currently available on the manufacturer’s website at an introductory price of USD 7.90, down from USD 39.90. The company also offers various subscription models for plug-ins and sound packs. The plug-in runs on Mac OS 10.7 or higher and Windows 7 or higher as VST, AU and AAX in 32 or 64-bit. A demo version is also available as a download. A selection of presets is included to get you going immediately.
