In many cases, when diving into online music theory resources, we can be overwhelmed with information, and not all of it is completely relevant to the music-making process. ToneGym’s approach seems far more focussed on the practical side of aural training, with a simple system that works to your particular level of understanding. With ToneGym Melody Playground, you have a useful tool for upskilling yourself melodically, while the system tracks your performance in your profile with each exercise. This way you can keep improving and the content is varied enough to prevent you from stagnating or falling into comfort zones.
