Three new LTD signature models from ESP
ESP LTD has just unveiled three new signature models for Goatwhore’s Sammy Duet, Of Mice & Men’s Alan Ashby, and Animals As Leaders’ Javier Reyes. The LTD SD-2, LTD AA-1 and LTD JR-7 all feature premium hardware and were designed with each guitarist’s specific needs in mind.
ESP LTD Signatures 2021
Three new signature models for Goatwhore’s Sammy Duet, Of Mice & Men’s Alan Ashby, and Animals As Leaders’ Javier Reyes have dropped, and they all look pretty well spec’d. You get some quality hardware across all three new ESP LTD models.
LTD JR-7
Animals As Leaders’ Javier Reyes’ new LTD JR-7 is the only 7-string signature in this release. It features a swamp ash body with a quilted maple top, a 5-piece, 27″ scale length walnut/maple/padauk neck, and a Macassar ebony fingerboard.
LTD JR-7
This guitar features a Hipshot bridge with a solid, string-through body design. It also comes loaded with a pair of Javier Reyes’ signature Fishman Open Core humbucking pickups. These are wired by volume and tone knobs, a five-way selector switch and a mini-toggle for the pickup voice selection.

LTD SD-2
Sammy Duet’s new LTD SD-2 signature is a recreation of his personal ESP Custom Shop model. The Goatwhore guitarist has a pretty spiky looking signature which isn’t exactly subtle. But, when you play in a band called Goatwhore, you don’t tend to rock a Telecaster!
ESP LTD SD-2
The guitar’s spec’s include a mahogany body combined with a three-piece neck-through mahogany neck, fitted with a 350mm-radius Macassar ebony fingerboard loaded with 24 Xtra Jumbo frets. It also has a set of diamond-shaped mother-of-pearl inlays and glow-in-the-dark side markers. You get a single Seymour Duncan Blackout active humbucker and a Floyd Rose 1000 SE double-locking tremolo bridge system.

LTD AA-1
This Alan Ashby signature LTD AA-1 is an update for the Of Mice & Men’s guitarist and features a single bridge pickup, the EMG 81 active humbucker, in a brushed gold finish.
LTD AA-1
The stripped back Tele-style guitar has a mahogany body with a neck-through three-piece mahogany neck, and a 24-fret Macassar ebony fingerboard without inlays. The TonePros locking TOM bridge and string-through body design should help with some serious sustain.
