God’s Box is home to some quirky Eurorack kits and the new Trouser Press will keep your creases sharp and your signals crossfading.

Trouser Press

You may know God’s Box via their Humpback filter, Loose Fruit waveshaper or Lollipop compressor. The Humpback is pretty normal but the other two are nicely unusual and useful in your Eurorack. The Trouser Press continues the vibe of usefulness with a simple and voltage controllable idea: Stick in two signals and crossfade between them with a nice big knob.

Both inputs have attenuators and if you prefer you can set it up as a regular VCA using the knob as an offset. It can also be a switch multiplier and a two-channel mixer. Otherwise you can choose between linear and logarithmic crossfading curves. Jam in some attenuatable CV to modulate the crossfade into all sorts of interesting places. It’s DC coupled so you can also swap audio for control voltage and make some CV controllable CV shapes.

There’s something about the look that’s really interesting. Has a sort of newsprint vibe which I like a lot.
