Supro Amulet 1×10 combo vintage voiced amp with variable wattage
New vintage style combo with modern features
The new Supro Amulet features a vintage voice, with modern features. This small combo comes with a 10” Celestion Creamback speaker, a three-way power attenuator, plus an all-tube reverb and tremolo effects.
This Supro Amulet is a feature-packed combo amp and manages to blend vintage looks and voicing with modern flexibility. The all-tube amp is fitted with a single, UK-made 10” Celestion Creamback and offers three-way variable 15 watts, 5 watts and 1 watt output. Construction is based around a poplar cabinet covered with Black Scandia Tolex and hemp grille cloth with gold thread.
Making it a very handy amp to have around. The Amulet uses a single 6L6 tube and a single 12AT7 and three 12AX7 preamp tubes.
It comes with a switchable power soak to achieve the neighbour-friendly bedroom level 1-watt, studio-friendly 5-watt and full 15-watt output. It has a single-ended, Class-A design and should offer guitarists plenty of useable tones. Ranging from creamy warm, through to grittier driven drive at the higher end of the dial.
If the Supro Royale was too much power for you, then the Amulet could be the amp to check out.
The Amulet has a control panel that consists of Vol, Treble and Bass. Plus controls for Reverb, along with Speed, Depth for the onboard tube-driven tremolo effect. Finally, there is that three-way switch for setting the wattage.
On the back, it has an input for a TRS dual footswitch, though the official SF2 Supro Dual Footswitch is sold separately.
The Amulet has some really nice tones on offer, which you can hear in the official demo videos below. It isn’t cheap, but it is pretty flexible and so could be just what some guitar players are looking for.
