Sugar Bytes TransFigure: Transform Your Audio
A powerful sound shaping tool with spectral and resynthesis processing.
Sugar Bytes TransFigure uses a spectral engine, a resynthesis processor, and other effects to impart unique characteristics onto a sound.
German developer Sugar Bytes is always cooking up instruments and effects with its own unique approach to synthesis and sound design, which makes these plugins ideal for electronic music production.

The interface of TransFigure is centered around an XY modulation pad with four envelopes that allow you to create complex modulation patches when combined with the spectral and resynthesis sections. With the spectral engine, you can isolate a specific part of the frequency range and shift or reshape it creatively.
Here, within the range of controls, there are parameters to adjust the envelope of the sound and change it harmonically. This is particularly useful if you’re creating music with samples that you’d like to work into your project in a specific key or area of the frequency spectrum. Meanwhile, the resynthesis engine generates a new signal based on the input signal.
This allows you to rebuild the sound dynamically, alter its fundamental harmonics, and modulate it with custom waveforms, pulsewidth, FM, or bit reduction. In addition, the resynthesis section is equipped with delay, glide, and stereo imaging controls, so you can get really organic and expressive results with some fine-tuning.

Also, there are two effects sections, which give you delay, reverb, filter, and phaser effects, as well as the glitchy Capture and Looper effects that are found on other Sugar Bytes plugins. Overall, TransFigure offers a unique platform for sound manipulation, and it could easily provide a source of inspiration for IDM producers and sound designers.
