Genelec 8010A
It may be small, but the Genelec 8010A packs plenty of punch and excels in situations where space is limited. If you’re setting up a project studio or edit booth – or perhaps you just need something portable – the 8010A is a perfect option.
Stereo imaging and overall translation properties are great, and it also does well on tasks like speech and vocal products. As a 3-inch monitor, the low-end is obviously limited. However, this can be extended with the addition of a studio sub.

Audient Nero

Universal Audio 4-710D Twin-Finity
The 4-710D provides a great way to not only expand but up the quality of your recording front end. Each of the four channels gives you a switchable line or mic preamplifier with an additional Hi-Z input and mix control for the tube and solid-state circuits.
In addition, the channels have a simplified 1176-style compressor and an insert point on the rear panel which makes the 4-710D incredibly versatile. Besides ADAT, connectivity also includes 4 extra line inputs, as well as Word Clock and AES/EBU.
