The Steven Slate Audio Raven MTi MAX picks up where the Raven MTi 2 left off. The new controller still offers a 27-inch multi-touch screen. The resolution, however, has been increased to 2K/4K, which allows you to fit much more onto the screen than before. According to Steven Slate, the MAX accommodates up to 32 faders simultaneously. And don’t worry about everything becoming too small: You can instantly zoom in on any control using a two-finger tap gesture. A Fine Mode lets you take precise control and make fader adjustments in 0.1 dB increments.

Along with the new Raven MTi MAX multi-touch controller, Steven Slate Audio has also announced a new version of the Raven mixer software. Raven 4.0 offers a new resizable studio mixer that adapts to your workflow and window configurations. Steven Slate says that it integrates seamlessly with your DAW mixer, effectively making it multi-touch. They’ve also added support for Universal Audio LUNA.

With a library of smart gestures, Raven 4.0 provides intuitive control of your DAW mixer and plugins. There’s also a new drag-and-drop Batch Command system, which makes it easy to create complex macros that can save a lot of time. Moreover, you can now record complex edits using your mouse or key commands, and save them to a button or gesture. This sounds like a big workflow improvement!

And they are still trying to sell that over 30″ 1080p abomination on their site. What a joke.
