StingRay Baritone
Finally, the growl you’ve been waiting for: Sterling’s first-ever baritone guitar has officially arrived. The StingRay Baritone is arguably the standout gem of the 2026 catalog, blending deep, resonant lows with the iconic StingRay silhouette.
Priced at $849.99, this beast is built for players who want to drop their tuning without losing their tension.
StingRay Short Scale Bass
Big punch, small footprint: the StingRay Short Scale Bass has officially joined the 2026 lineup. If you love the iconic StingRay growl but find the standard frame a bit too cumbersome, this lightweight powerhouse is designed specifically for you.
Retailing at $749.99, it’s the perfect blend of ergonomic comfort and classic aesthetic.
Cutlass Plus
The Cutlass series gets a sophisticated glow-up for 2026, introducing two new models that balance vintage soul with modern utility. These “Plus” models are engineered for players who need more “utility” under the hood without losing that classic double-cutaway charm.
The Cutlass Plus is set to hit the market at a competitive $699.99.
Jason Richardson Artist Series
The Jason Richardson Artist Series continues to push the boundaries of technical performance, and for 2026, it’s going “green.” The iconic high-performance Cutlass is now available in a mesmerizing Kokiri Forest Green finish, adding a legendary aesthetic to its lightning-fast playability.
In a move many fans have been waiting for, the series has also expanded: for the first time, a 6-string version joins the established 7-string powerhouse. The 7-string guitar costs $999.99, while the 6-string version is slightly less expensive at $949.99.
Steve Lukather
The Luke HSS joins the 2026 lineup as the latest collaboration between Sterling and the legendary Steve Lukather. Designed to mirror the precision of the Toto guitarist’s own rig, this model packs professional-grade versatility into a sleek, ergonomic frame.
This 2026 Luke HSS features the V-shaped neck profile and the signature Luke shape. It also boasts a new HSS pickup, a 5-way switch, a vintage tremolo, and a 12 dB push-push volume boost.
The Luke HSS hits shelves at $849.99, offering a premium signature experience without the custom-shop price tag. Available in Heritage Cherry Burst and Yucatan Blue finishes.
Verdict
Some great updates and new models here, I’m particularly liking the Baritone StingRay, and it seems baritone models are becoming ever more popular this year. We have already seen the PRS SE Ed Sheeran model announced.
We will update you as soon as these models are available.
