The Plugin Boutique Membership has replaced the old token-based loyalty program with a tiered system with an optional subscription plan.
Loyalty rewards have been around on Plugin Boutique for years, letting you accumulate tokens every time you purchase and review a plugin, sample pack, or preset collection, with the odd bonus freebie thrown in every now and again. Well, the system has now changed to a new tiered loyalty program that rewards you based on your purchases in the last year.

Everyone with an existing account on Plugin Boutique is automatically loaded into the new system in one of the three available membership tiers based on your purchases in the last 12 months. The Member Tier is the starting point, which gives you access to loads of free plugins, and 5% of every purchase is converted to Virtual Cash.
If you’ve spent a hundred bucks in the last year, you qualify for the Silver Tier, which includes all the benefits of the Member Tier plus a feature called Creator Perks, adding advantages like discounts on tutorials, production gear, and studio time, as well as access to tools to help you market and distribute your music on digital platforms.
When you spend 200 bucks over a 12-month period, you qualify for the Gold Tier. Naturally, all the perks from the two tiers below are included, along with a 7.5% Virtual Cash conversion rate per purchase and a monthly mystery free plugin offer you can claim every month. The beauty of the new Membership system is that it works retroactively, keeping track of your purchases in the last year.
This means if you’ve spent $200 or more since last October, you’re automatically a Gold Tier member. Overall, the bonus free plugins and educational content from Plugin Boutique partners add plenty of value, and there is also a Discovery Bundle subscription ($20 monthly/$200 annually) which unlocks access to over a hundred plugins from over 25 top developers, as well as all Gold Tier benefits, a free plugin bundle upon activation, and a free gift with every purchase.
