Fender has just released a set of three new acoustic guitar amps. The Acoustic Junior, Acoustic Junior Go and Acoustic SFX II combo style amps are lightweight, making them easy to lug around, and offer features such as Bluetooth and more!
Fender Acoustic Amplifier Series
With onboard Bluetooth for streaming backing tracks with, and an in-built 90-second looper, these three new Fender Acoustic Series Amps have a lot to offer. Fender has made them as light as possible, weighing only 15lbs, 17lbs and 22lbs respectively. The smallest version, the Acoustic Junior Go, even has a rechargeable battery with up to 5 hours of playing time at full volume, and around 12 hours at a more moderate volume.
Twin Channels and Onboard FX
Each of the models has two identical channels, interchangeable for instruments and/or vocals, which makes them pretty flexible. Each channel has Room Reverb, Hall Reverb, Echo, Delay, Chorus, Vibratone, Delay+Chorus and Delay+Reverb. I can see them being very popular, especially as the prices are very reasonable.
Stereo Field Expansion
The SFX II has an 8” speaker, with a 6” side-firing SFX speaker and a compression tweeter. It also has Stereo Field Expansion which should allow you to get a nice full sound with an added stereo dimension to the effects.
All three models feature two XLR outputs, a headphone output and an auxiliary input for external audio, as well as a USB jack for audio recording. You can also buy an optional four-button MGT-4 footswitch, which controls Effects Select, Looper Control, Tap and Tuner functions. These fender acoustic amps are lightweight and have more than enough handy features to make them appealing.
