The new Fender Mustang LT40S and Pro Junior IV SE amps have been announced today amongst a slew of new and upcoming products. The Californian guitar brand has been busy and has chosen to announce all their latest released post-NAMM.
Fender Mustang LT40S
The Mustang LT40S from Fender is the newest member of the popular Mustang LT series of guitar amplifiers. According to the manufacturer, it is ideal for practising and jamming at home, with 40 watts of stereo power, a pair of 4-inch speakers and a super simple user interface with a colour display.
The easy-to–use modelling amp has a collection of presets that cover a wide range of music – the “Greatest Hits” of electric guitar sounds. The versatile signal chain with onboard amplifier and effect models produces a wide variety of sounds. And with the free downloadable Fender TONE LT desktop app, you can easily edit, save and manage your presets on your Mac or PC.

Pro Junior IV SE
Next up is the new Pro Junior IV SE which is a special edition (SE = Special Edition) of the popular Pro Junior IV. The standard version* has a 1x 10′′ Jensen P10R. The new limited edition, on the other hand, is equipped with an unspecified “Fender Special Design speaker“, which is intended to deliver a tight, balanced performance with a lot of high-end shine.
In addition, the amplifier is covered with a black vinyl cover and silver lattice fabric and has a chrome-plated control panel with red jewel light. This combo is rated at 15 watts of power from 2x 12AX7 preamp tubes and 2x EL84 power amp tubes.
