NAMM 2020: 3 new modules from 2HP – Loop, Comp and Pitch
Along with their fabulous Lunchbox release, 2HP also have 3 deliciously simple new modules: Loop, Comp and Pitch.
Loop
It’s a sound on sound looper with an enormous 5-minute buffer. You’ve got audio in and out plus a Gate input for recording. Then you’ve got a mix control over the original and looped signal plus an input level control. There are Shift, Mode and Record buttons but no information yet on what all the features are. The price is $149 and it should be available in April.
Comp
It’s a compressor with side chain functionality. There are controls on Threshold and Ratio, Attack and Release. Audio in and out plus a “Key” input for the side chain. Price is $129 and it should be out in May.
Pitch
It’s a time domain pitch shifter with flutter control. It has a 1v/oct input for the shifting and a pitch control. Mix and Tone have CV control. Price is $119 and should be available in June.
