We caught a taste of the revamped and as yet unannounced Moog Subharmonicon a couple of days ago and now there’s a new video while the Moog website remains silent.

All the details are spilling out from this video from Perfect Circuit demonstrating it with the Moog DFAM. You can clearly witness the two 4-step sequences doing their thing with individual timings and rhythms. The filter and envelope section gets some action which works on the whole paraphonic synth voice. The sense of polyphony is really interesting with droning notes, bouncing rhythms and modulations.

It pairs perfectly with the DFAM as it would with the Mother-32 and can be opened up and integrated with the sizable patch bay. It looks like a wonderful addition to the range.

Very excited for this one. Please. Please make it a short wait time. None of this announce and wait a year and a half to release.

But yea. Super pumped for this little guy.
