MESA/Boogie Cleo

The MESA/Boogie Cleo sits almost innocently in its unassuming light blue enclosure and is aimed at fans of lower gain tones who would like just a bit of a boost on their light overdrives. The pedal comes with three simple VOLUME, GAIN, and TONE controls, which should make it intuitive and simple it simple to dial in.

MESA/Boogie Dynaplex

With the MESA/Boogie Dynaplex, the clue is in the name, which pays tribute to those legendary Marshall Plexi amps we all know and love. The pedal aims to imitate the famous crunchy Marshall sounds of ’70s rock for harder overdriven tones and should work well with humbucker equipped guitars.

The Dynaplex comes with the standard LEVEL, GAIN, and TONE controls, as well as a PRESENCE control. There is also an EQ switch on the inside, which removes a few mids from the signal, if required.

MESA/Boogie Gold Mine

The MESA/Boogie Gold Mine is meant to recreate the high-gain, tight distortion that MESA/Boogie is known for. Especially during the late ’80s and throughout the ’90s. So expect a tight low end and thick drive with this last one. The Gold Mine has VOLUME and GAIN controls, along with a 3-band EQ to help you sculpt your tone. Inside, there is a tight switch that should help tame bass frequencies in order to avoid any flub in the bottom end.
