The LD Systems Maui G3 Mix series offers two models of compact plug-and-play column PA systems with an intelligent app-based mixing interface.
The German manufacturer LD Systems offers a wide selection of innovative live sound solutions. These range from professional sound reinforcement and mixing tools to sound systems for restaurants and entertainment venues.
LD Systems Maui G3 Mix
With the LD Systems Maui G3 Mix, this range offers compact high-quality speaker systems that are easy to transport and setup. What’s more, they are conveniently controlled with an app-based mixing platform. Let’s take a closer look:
Maui 11 G3 Mix
The Maui 11 G3 Mix is a portable system made up of a full-range speaker column, which disassembles into two pieces, and a lightweight 2 x 8-inch subwoofer.
It offers a cardioid dispersion pattern, delivering 1460 W peak power and a maximum SPL of 125 dB. Inside the speaker column, is an array of six 3.5-inch full-range drivers and two one-inch high-frequency drivers.

Maui 28 G3 Mix
Although not quite as portable, the Maui 28 G3 Mix is still an extremely compact system. Its construction is made up of a 2-part speaker column like the Maui 11, but with a 12-inch subwoofer.
Moreover, the speaker column contains a total of twelve 3.5-inch drivers, along with the two 1-inch tweeters. Overall, the Maui 28 delivers 2060W peak power and a maximum SPL of 127dB, which is impressive.

Both the Maui 11 and Maui 28 column systems have a 6-channel digital mixer that can be expanded with a second column to provide 12 input channels, as well as additional subwoofers.
What’s more, the system is all controllable via a free app that provides Easy and Expert modes for making adjustments via smartphone or iPad.
