The Korg Minilogue is one of the most exciting surprise products of 2016. It even featured in our “The 5 best new hardware synthesizers this year – so far” article, it’s that good! 4 voices, 2 VCO’s, filters, delay, arpeggiator, sequencer and USB-MIDI for under €600. Anyway, Korg have just released a Sound Librarian for it.

The Minilogue Sound Librarian will allow you to reorder and organise your presets and patches and back them up to your computer. You can also reload the factory sounds or additional libraries and even share programs with other users.

In that vein Korg have also released the Sound Packs vol. 1 “UK Producer Set” which you can download and inject into your Minilogue. It’s a boutique collection featuring fat bass, warm pads, vintage emulations and biting lead sounds. It’s created by Dan Goldman (aka JD73) and Tim Mantle of Psalm 37 Patches. Both respected UK based synth heads. There are 75 programs and each includes a step sequence for instant fun.
