The Tube Head Switch is engineered with premium Class A components to ensure a clean, noiseless operation that won’t compromise the tone of your amplifiers. Its key feature is a built-in safety load management system that automatically maintains the correct impedance when you switch amps.
Harley Benton has released a product that is both affordable and super useful for both studio and live work. An intuitive LED A/B indicator provides clear visual feedback, so you always know which amp is active.
Flexible Connectivity
It uses a Buffered Instrument Input: Ideal for guitars, this input preserves signal strength and clarity, especially during long cable runs or when using a complex effects chain. It also has a Direct Input: Perfect for preamps or other line-level devices that produce a stronger signal, this input does not require buffering, ensuring optimal audio quality for advanced configurations.
The Tube Head Switch also features dedicated inputs and outputs for each amplifier (“To Amp-A,” “To Amp-B,” “From Amp-A,” “From Amp-B”), all routing to a single “To Cabinet” output jack. This allows for a streamlined setup, reducing cable clutter and simplifying your rig.
Compact, Durable, and Gig-Ready
Housed in a compact and durable chassis, the Tube Head Switch weighs just 1 kg (2.2 lbs), making it a portable and reliable companion for gigs and rehearsals.
