Harley Benton CLP-12SM Solid Top Parlor
Let’s revisit the 2022 model. The Harley Benton CLP-12SM Solid Top Parlor isn’t just strikingly beautiful, it’s also a great guitar for songwriting, practicing, jamming, and even traveling thanks to its compact size.
How well this parlor guitar is built, is impressive. It features traditional X-bracing and boasts a solid Sitka spruce top, as well as a back and sides made of African mahogany.

Combined with the Nyatoh neck and a Purpleheart fretboard and bridge, you’ll get a smooth and balanced tone. Plus, bone nut ensures clear and clean string tones. In addition, the open Deluxe Antique tuners are look stunning and add to the overall vibe, although threading the strings might be a bit fiddly.
Piezo with a built-in Tuner
The Harley Benton CLP-12SM Solid Top Parlor is also stage-ready, as these guitars come equipped with a high-quality piezo system. The HB-03 piezo with a dedicated preamp delivers professional sound quality, no additional microphones needed.

Also, the piezo system comes with a built-in tuner. Which, depending on your setup and the gig you’re playing, can be extremely handy for quick re-tuning.
Introducing the Harley Benton CLP-12SM Solid Top Parlor for Lefties!
The big news of the day is that Harley Benton has just released a left-handed version* of the CLP-12SM Solid Top Parlor. At 299 euros, it’s slightly more expensive than the 249 euros asking price of the CLP-12SM Solid Top Parlor, but overall it’s still a great acoustic guitar.

Been waiting for someone to release a cheaper version of the Acoustasonics series. The Hybrid Steel looks great as well! I’m glad that they didn’t try to copy the Acoustasonic bodies outright.
They sure look a lot like those Taylor guitars from a decade or so ago.
Who on earth would want a pug-ugly acoustasonic when you could have one of these beauties?
Can’t wait to get my hands on the steel string and nylon string hybrids.
i bought the naturel steel hybrid , looks fantastic 🤣🤣🤣👌👌👌
Fantastic machine for the price. Sounds better than Fender Acoustasonic Player that I had. Stays in tune, easy to operate. Only drawback is flat type batteries under top rear screwed on cover.
