The Guild Starfire series is back, offering a wide range of new semi-acoustic models with loads of vintage flair and modern features. Let’s take a look.
This is the new Starfire series:
Guild Starfire Custom
The Guild Starfire Custom models are the top-of-the-line models in the Starfire series. DeArmond Dynasonic single-coil pickups deliver their signature sound, while the “Custom” package—featuring ebony fretboards, elaborate bindings, elegant mother-of-pearl inlays, and a tortoise-shell-style pickguard—adds a touch of visual sophistication.
And if you go for one of the GH models, you also get elegant gold hardware.
The Custom line comes in various combinations of tonewoods, hardware, and elegant high-gloss finishes. Check it out at Thomann* and Sweetwater*.
Deluxe
The biggest part of this release is the new Guild Starfire Deluxe series, with models available in both single-cutaway and double-cutaway body shapes. With their HB-2+ humbuckers with Alnico V magnets, these guitars offer plenty of sonic options.
The Deluxe series features rosewood fretboards with pearloid block inlays, as well as a pearloid Guild Peak logo with matching Chesterfield inlays on the headstock.

Guild Starfire Deluxe Bass
The new Deluxe Bass is a modern reinterpretation of the legendary Starfire Bass II. These semi-acoustic basses, featuring a maple body and a poplar bridge, are affordable, durable, and beautiful to look at!
Their BS-1 BiSonic single-coil delivers full, rich tones, and these basses come in two colors: “Sweet Tea” and “Teal the Deal”. These basses are available for preorder at Thomann* and Sweetwater*.
