Gibbon Digital has an interesting mute-firing and solo-arming live performance module for 4-channels of gates or trigger that’s perfect for those builds and drops we all love so much.

Plug in 4 channels of gates or triggers and Mutuj gives you instant and clever control over mute and solo. There’s a switch to take you between Mute and Solo modes. In Solo mode pressing any input switches with arm that channel for soloing turning the LED yellow. Hitting the Solo switch will then solo the armed track and mute the others. So it’s like you set it up for the solo and then trigger it – that’s rather nice.
Mute mode is available in two forms and works simply on the press of the input button. In one form you can have the channel mute on the first press of the button and in the other form you can have the mute happen on the release of the button.
Good, simple and clever stuff in a nice looking module for only €89.
