Elixir Essential is based on the same transparent algorithm as the legacy Elixir v3, which has seen recording and mastering action for near a decade. The algorithm is designed to achieve natural-sounding results by preserving the audio material’s organic timbre.

Elixir Essential handles up to 16 channels at sample rates up to 384kHz. It also conforms to the ITU-R and EBU loudness norms for broadcast, post-production, and mastering. The plug-in ensures True Peak output in accordance with the ITU-R BS.1770 and EBU R128 norms.

Elixir Essential’s multi-stage processing provides the option to set the algorithm to perform the limiting processing in multiple stages for more precise and natural-sounding results. Additionally, the GUI has been overhauled with workflow enhancements and offers rich visual metering. The user interface is now scalable in 6 sizes: from 800 x 600 to 2000 x 1500. There are also new presets for firing the finished results to Youtube, Spotify, Apple Music, and Netflix.

Immersive Essential Pricing

Elixir Essential is on an introductory sale for USD 99 / EUR 85, down from USD 149 / EUR 125. It is available now from FLUX:: Immersive and resellers, and it’s also included in the new Immersive audio production plugin bundle Immersive:: Essentials. The latter is on an introductory sale of USD 199, down from USD 299.
