Electro Harmonix has jumped onto the tuner pedal bandwagon and announced its new, super-compact EHX-2020 chromatic tuner pedal.

First impressions: this pedal is nice and compact, so it doesn’t use up much real estate on your pedalboard. Perfect for pedal addicts like me! It also has a nice big, bright display that gives you all the relevant information you need to tune your instrument on a dark stage, in the studio or at home.

EHX-2020 Tuning Range
The EHX-2020 can also be calibrated to a reference standard of 436 to 445Hz, available in in 1 Hz steps. Being able to step outside the standard 440Hz is always useful, especially if you’re playing with other musicians that aren’t playing guitars.
The tuning ranges go from B0 to B7. Three flat tuning modes are also available, so you can tune down ½ step, a whole step and even a minor third. All in all, this little tuner should be very useable for many different stringed instruments.
The EHX-2020 Chromatic Tuner Pedal comes with its own 9V DC Adapter.
