Roland TD-27KV2 e-Drum Kit
Sitting between their entry-level kits and the awesome full-size e-Drum sets is the Roland TD-27KV2. Featuring a full-size snare and smaller toms, all pads feature Roland’s V-Drum Mesh Head technology. It also features the same Prismatic sound modelling seen in the top of the line TD-50.
Mounted on a sturdy tubular frame, the TD-27KV2 features a 14″digital snare, 3x 10″ tom and a 10: kick drum pad. Cymbals are covered by a 12″ and 14″ dual-zone crash pair and an 18″ digital ride. Hi-hats are taken care of by a digital hi-hat pad.
The TD-27 drum module packs in 770 sounds across 75 preset kits and 45 user kits. Up to 500MB of user sample data can be imported. There’s plenty of connectivity on the rear as well as USB and Bluetooth audio/MIDI.
It’s worth noting that you will need to supply your own hi-hat and snare stand. Something to spend your €400 saving on, maybe?

Millenium MPS-450 with Free Expansion Pack!
The Millenium MPS-450 is a super affordable way to get into e-Drumming. With five mesh-head pads, two cymbals, a kick and a hi-hat, you have all you need to get started or just simply practice. All of these hang off a solid rack and come with hi-hat and kick drum pedals.

Millenium MPS-1000 D2 e-Drum Kit
I’ve raved about this kit before and I will continue to do so! The Millenium MPS-1000 represents incredible value for money and is, in some cases, more than a quarter of the price of other full size shell e-Drum kits.
The D2 PW variant comes in Pearl White and has a “one up, two down” tom configuration. It can also be had in a “two up, one down” combo if desired. Either way, these kits deliver stage presence as well as superb sound and performance.
Wooden shells, sturdy metal stands and responsive mesh heads make this a player’s dream. The drum brain isn’t too shabby either. 820 sounds across 40 preset and 40 user kits. Effects, compressors, EQ;s and 335MB of internal user sample storage put this up there with the best.
