Analog Phaser
The small redesigned Diamond Phase packs a powerful punch under the hood. While its core design remains the same as before, it once again features a completely analog signal path. This is based on six carefully selected and matched JFET transistors. This is precisely what creates the exceptionally smooth, musical phase shift with depth, warmth, and clarity in the sound.
Additional Functions
Despite its new, smaller size, the redesigned pedal boasts expanded functionality.
Thanks to its selectable 2-, 4-, or 6-stage architecture, you have three distinct phaser sounds at your disposal. These range from subtle modulations and delicate movements, through classic, traditional phasing, to effects with increased harmonic complexity for powerful, expressive, and psychedelic sounds. You select these modes via a mini toggle switch in the center of the pedal.
Simple-To-Use
With controls for Level, Speed, Regen, and Depth, you can further refine your phaser sound. The footswitch also supports “Momentary” and “Latching” functions. It’s easy to use, and you won’t need to read any manuals to get up and running.
This no-fuss analog phaser pedal offers some great tones, and its simplicity is also its strength: no menus or poorly named controls mean it is perfect for just making music, rather than getting overloaded with information.
Price and Availability
The Diamond Phaser costs €279.00 and is available now at Thomann. The price is reasonable considering the sound quality and flawless workmanship. The pedal is handcrafted in Canada and of high quality, with top-mounted jacks for easy use on any pedalboard setup.
