Pitch Innovations Fluid Chords
Fluid Chords from Pitch Innovations is a MIDI plug-in and standalone software which uses MPE expression to bend chords in a very musical way. WIth this tool and your controller (or DAW automation)’s pitch bend, complete chords are fluidly pitched to the next chord. Each individual chord tone is smoothly re-pitched to the next note. Chords being what they are, you can also stack additional tones and get some fluent, complex harmonies going.
You can choose the chords beforehand from a highly appealing user interface and assign them to buttons or pads on your MIDI controller. By triggering complete chords from a single button and moving the pitch bend wheel, the chords morphs between each other, up or down in pitch.
The plug-in requires an MPE-capable synthesizer and DAW, which is not really an issue. Modern software is already on speaking terms with MPE at this point.
