The Arturia MiniLab MkII is a hugely popular portable USB keyboard controller that’s perfect for sessions on the go. It’s got 25 velocity-sensitive keys, eight multi-colored drum pads and no less than sixteen rotary knobs for controlling your software synths and plug-ins. There’s also a couple of touch strips for pitch bend and modulation and a sustain pedal jack. The whole thing runs on USB bus power and fits in your backpack.
If that sounds like a great addition to your setup, now’s a perfect time to grab it. Arturia has reduced the price by 25%, and they’re even throwing in some extra plug-ins to make the deal even sweeter. The MiniLab MkII comes with Analog Lab Lite including 500 sounds from V Collection, Ableton Live Lite and UVI Grand Piano. And if you buy one now and register it on Arturia’s site, you’ll receive the plug-ins Mini V (Minimoog emulation), Stage-73 V (Rhodes) and REV Plate-140 (plate reverb) for free! All in all, that brings the value of the included software to over $400.
