With up to 1024 bands of compression, this spectral processor is a seriously powerful tool for taming harsh resonances, isolating frequencies, creating space in your mix for other elements, and even creative sound design.

ANINA packs a lot of features in a clear, easy-to-use GUI. You can choose from several block sizes (or numbers of bands), and adjust the Amount, Attack, and Decay, while keeping an eye on the spectrum analyzer. There’s also a built-in tilt EQ for the compression signal for quick and easy sound shaping. You can further shape the filter spectrum using a pair of filters and a gate. ANINA even has a Freeze button that allows you to freeze the compression spectrum to hear exactly what’s going on.

But that’s not all. ANINA also includes a sidechain input, so it can respond to other signals to carve out space in your mix. And the Delta button lets you listen to the portion of the signal that’s being removed, which also happens to be a great creative sound design tool.
