First announced in late summer 2025, Cosmic Debris is a collaboration between WMD and Nick Donaldson of Infrasonic Audio. The delay and reverb module for Eurorack is packed with inspiring features for creative sound design and performance.

More Information

At its core are no fewer than 16 delay lines that can interact with each other in various ways. Although Cosmic Debris can, of course, deliver standard echoes, its true strength lies in dense, wide, reverb-like textures and soundscapes. Most parameters are CV-controllable, letting you integrate the module creatively into your patches.

Turn up the Spray parameter to transform delay taps into ambient reverbs, or experiment with the Scatter knob to reshape the feedback paths and interactions between the delay lines. In addition, there’s an integrated LFO with continuously variable waveforms that can modulate the Time and Slew parameters, offering a wide range of sound design opportunities. For additional sound shaping, Cosmic Debris includes a CV-controllable bandpass filter with adjustable bandwidth.

The Blast button provides a momentary boost into the delay input for “explosive bursts of sound with natural tails”, which sounds like a neat performance feature. Cosmic Debris also offers a Send mode that turns the Mix knob into a send/return control, allowing for insert-style processing without additional equipment.

The delay can sync to an external clock if desired, and there’s a Tap Tempo button.

Price and Availability

You can now pre-order Cosmic Debris from the WMD website for $549. As of today, the manufacturer hasn’t shared the shipping date, but it shouldn’t be much longer.
