The Taurus Stomp-Head 6.CE: An all-in-one pedalboard amp with classic vintage tones
The new Taurus Stomp-Head 6.CE combines an amplifier, preamp, foot controller, and a speaker emulator into one neat little pedalboard-sized unit. Designed and made in Poland, this red box offers 200 watts of power, with classic amp tones powered by MTD technology.

The Taurus Stomp-Head 6.CE pedalboard amplifier is a bright red unit with all the amp controls on the front panel and 200-watts of clean power amp. It has an analogue amp design that uses the company’s patented MTD (Master Tube Design) technology, which is based around a single 12AX7 tube and allows for clean headroom without any unwanted distortion. This handy pedalboard amp will certainly be a good alternative for players who want vintage and classic amp tones, without lugging around heavy equipment.

Power Range Selector
The Stomp-Head 6.CE can also handle multiple output power stages, including: 90W, 40W, 20W, and 12W via the Power Range Selector switch on the front panel. So you can use it with a variety of cab sizes, or run it at the full 200W. There is also a handy speaker analogue simulation circuit that is based on the speaker cone characteristics of a Celestion Vintage 30 and a Creamback speakers.
CLEAN, CRUNCH and DRIVE
The unit has footswitchable Clean, Crunch, and Drive settings, plus a Boost function and an onboard Reverb. Having dedicated footswitches for each function is obviously a very useful feature. You also have two amp channels, Clean + Crunch and Lead, available to you.

Controls and Outputs
The front panel has controls for Bass, Middle, Treble, Presence, Crunch + Volume, Drive + Volume, Boost, Reverb and the Power Range Selector, to dial in your amp tones. On the rear you get a Resonance switch, a series effects loop for your effects, and an input Gain Boost with +6dB available to you. The rear panel also has a handy line output with the speaker simulation, so you can go straight to a desk or a DAW, with no hassles.
