Elektron’s Analog Four MKII has been around for a while, but it’s still one of the best-sounding and most versatile analog desktop synths for a sequencer-based workflow. With four synth tracks and an FX track, it gives you plenty of flexibility: Use it as four independent monophonic synths, or combine the four voices for polyphonic sounds. In addition to two analog oscillators with variable waveshapes and two sub-oscillators, each voice features two analog filters and plenty of LFOs and envelopes for modulation.
It goes without saying that the Analog Four MKII also comes with Elektron’s signature sequencer. With individual pattern lengths and scales for each track, parameter locks, trig probability, micro timing, sound changes per step, and full real-time control over everything, this thing is a serious performance machine.
