Studio Deals

There are deals on DAW controllers, industry-standard podcasting mics, and much more. Let’s take a closer look at the offers currently available:

JBL 306P MKII

The 306P MKII is a 2-way 112W bi-amplified 6.5-inch active nearfield nearfield monitor in the popular JBL 3 Series. Its design brings together features from the 7 Series and the M2 Master Reference Monitor, with JBL’s Image Control Waveguide system.

The 306P is rear-ported, and on the rear panel, there are both XLR and TRS connections with +4 dBu and -10 dBv input settings. In addition, there is a boundary EQ feature and high-frequency trim, so you can tune the 306P to your room.

Overall, the 3 Series is a widely used choice for home studios, and the 306P provides plenty of value for the price.

Shure SM7B

The SM7B is still the world’s most popular microphone for podcasting and studio-based content creation, but it’s also an excellent mic for vocal recording.

Being a low-output dynamic microphone, it will need some extra gain before going into your interface. However, this design is ideal for recording at home in untreated acoustic environments because of how localized the pickup pattern is.

The SM7B is a first choice for speech and vocals, but it also works well on brass instruments and amp cabinets.

AKAI APC64

The APC64 is a controller designed for Ableton Live with an 8-track 32-step pattern sequencer built-in, so you can also use it for Dawless sequencing of MIDI-based instruments, as well as Eurorack synthesizers.

The design is built around an 8×8 button grid which can be used to launch clips for performance or live-style arrangement purposes. Meanwhile, you can program polyphonic instruments live or use the specialized drum mode for note input.

Besides that, there are 8 touch strips that give you control over panning, sends, and parameters on your effects and instruments. What’s more, you have tap-tempo and basic transport controls.
