If you want to play in team Steinberg, now is a great time to get Cubase 11 (read our review here). The manufacturer has put its flagship recording software on sale until August 1, 2021. The summer sale gives Cubase enthusiasts some great purchase and upgrade/crossgrade options!
In version 11, Cubase Artist picks up VariAudio 3, ARA 2 support, and unlimited tracks. A favorite of ours is the new Sampler Track with automatic slicing, two LFOs for modulating the pitch, filter or amp, mono legato glide and a nicely gritty Vintage lo-fi mode. Cubase 11 has lots of things like that to sink your teeth into without being a huge overhaul or bringing too much drama.
