1 fader to rule them all? The SSL UF1 is a compact but advanced DAW controller designed to be the focal point of your DAW workflow.
Having taken over the market with the UC1 and UF8 controllers, the new UF1 becomes a logical expansion to this range and also it’s a practical solution for those looking for a high-end controller who are short on space.
SSL UF1
The first thing you’ll notice is the high-res LCD TFT displays, with the main 4.3-inch screen giving you an overview of metering via the SSL Meter plug-in, parameter values, as well as your play head and locator info.
Meanwhile, the smaller 1.7-inch display above the channel fader keeps you updated with your current channel’s metering and the selected parameter info.
The transport controls and weighted jog wheel are key aspects of the design, providing essential navigational tools to keep your DAW sessions ticking over.

The UF1 is designed with the SSL 360° software in mind, so you can customize your keyboard shortcuts and create specialized macros to suit your workflow with 46 configurable keys available.
At the center of the panel, you’ll find the main rotary encoder which gives you precise control with Focus mode active and allows quick channel banking and control of your system volume.
The UF1 offers expandability with up to four UF8 controllers and a UC1. Moreover, there are dedicated HUI and MCU DAW profiles for Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, Studio One, Ableton Live, LUNA, and Pyramix.
