Artesia Pro is known for their elegant and compact Xkey controller but now they’ve added a nicely designed Xpad to the mix for some finger drumming and loop triggering.
Xpad
It has the same super-slim metal front panel design as the Xkey but with 16 dazzling RGB pads and 6 really good looking encoders. The pads are velocity and pressure-sensitive with expressive aftertouch. It’s going to perfectly fit into any laptop bag and powers up over USB. It also has TRS MIDI output for controlling other MIDI devices.
Apparently, for iOS users, it will bus power directly from your iPads camera kit adapter – nice!
The Xpad should retail for $119 and they plan to ship in March.
