LowRider Culture

Inspired by baroque designs in vintage American gunsmithing and lowriders, these instruments feature acid-etched metal top faceplates, ebony fretboards, and Fishman Fluence pickups for a unique combination of classic craftsmanship and high-performance playability.

Four Classic Designs

The range consists of four core designs: the Avenger FR, E-1 FR, Solo-II, and V-1.

Both FR models have a Floyd Rose 1500 double-locking bridge, while the other two models have a standard TOM-style bridge and tailpiece.

The acid-etched metal top faceplates are the standout feature across this range, and they all share a similar design.

A mahogany body is paired with a Thin C profile three-piece maple neck with carbon fiber reinforcement rods.

The 12″-16″ compound radius ebony fretboard is fitted with 22 or 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets (depending on the model) and Luminlay side dots, with a chain fret marker at the 12th fret and lines on the 11th and 13th fret.

Fishman Fluence

They all use the Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic in the bridge position and the Fishman Fluence Modern Alnico in the neck position. T

o fit the dark aesthetic of these guitars, they have brushed black nickel covers. All the hardware is satin black, and the central guitar bodies and necks are gloss black throughout the series.

MSRP – USD 1999 – 2099 for the FR models

Verdict

If you like modern playing guitars, these could be for you. They certainly stand out with those metal engraved/etched tops, and so have a hint of Zemaitis about them. Having Fishman Fluence pickups and fast necks with huge frets will make them great for shredding and high-gain players. I like that they also offer hard tail and Floyd Rose options.
