Quilter Elevate

Unveiled at NAMM 2025, the Quilter Elevate is an all-in-one, streamlined solution for musicians who need a comprehensive setup for live performances.

While popular forums indicate that the Quilter Elevate isn’t for everyone—with some users finding it too stripped-down and minimalist—this simplicity could be its greatest strength. It’s an ideal solution for players who are overwhelmed by the complexity of powerful, modern multi-effects units, such as the Quad Core and Kemper.

This powerful unit features 14 built-in effects, including wah, compressor, pre and post EQ, gain, a noise gate, tremolo, stereo and tri-chorus, vibrato, flanger, detune, echo, reverb, and a cabinet simulation.

Pre & Post EQ

Combining pre-EQ, gain, and post-EQ gives you the flexibility to craft almost any amp sound, from a classic British crunch to a warm American blues tone. While this approach may seem less sophisticated than the competition, it offers a wider range of tonal options without trying to perfectly replicate a specific classic amplifier.

Simple To Use Blocks

The Quilter Elevate features ten fixed, effect blocks, each with a dedicated effect. You cannot change the order or routing of these blocks. The chain begins with the Noise Gate, Wah, Pre-EQ, Compressor, and Gain (for distortion), followed by a Post-EQ to further shape your distorted sound.

400 Presets

After the initial gain stage, the Elevate provides two more gain stages, followed by a series of modulation, delay, and reverb effects. The final effect in the chain is the cab simulator.

In total, you can save up to 400 presets on the unit, with 100 of these being pre-installed factory presets to get you started.

Bluetooth Connectivity

The Quilter Elevate stands out with its quick performance. It boasts a boot time of under 15 seconds, which is notably faster than a Quad Cortex processor. The multi-effects unit also features an impressively low latency of just 1.6 ms.

You control the Elevate using a web app that’s compatible with browsers like Chrome, Opera, and Edge. Simply connect via Bluetooth, navigate to the assigned web address, and you can adjust all the detailed settings. While a dedicated mobile app might seem more modern, this web-based approach ensures long-term access and compatibility with the Elevate.

More Information

Because the Quilter Elevate uses a web app, you won’t have to worry about a new smartphone or an operating system update making your pedal unusable. This guarantees long-term access and use.

For connectivity, the Elevate includes a mono input, an aux output, a headphone output (mini jack), both quarter-inch and XLR stereo outputs, an expression pedal input, MIDI thru and MIDI in (5-pin), and a USB-C port.

Jamlink

With the Elevate, you can use JamLink to stream audio over Bluetooth for jamming along with backing tracks. When connected to your computer, the unit functions as an audio interface, allowing you to record your guitar directly into your DAW using the Elevate’s presets.

Finally, each preset allows you to create two sub-presets that you can switch between seamlessly, including effects spillover.

Price & Availability

You can get the Quilter Elevate for $537/£484/€549 at Thomann. It’s currently taking about three to four weeks for delivery.

This could be the perfect multi-effect for guitarists who don’t like complex menu diving and who suffer from option paralysis. I’m also a fan of it not relying on a mobile app for control, which should keep it working long after most smartphones have become obsolete.
