Neural networks for brutal tone?

So there’s not much to go on, but this new ‘Neural Networks’ amp simulation could be brutal. The 32-second teaser video (below) contains some heavy riffing and tight modern guitar tones.

If this little teaser is anything to go on, then expect a great-sounding amp simulation plugin for your DAW. Long have I been a fan of this company’s work and this little snippet has certainly whetted my appetite. If you require modern high-gain tones and great simulations of classic amps then this company is a leader in terms of sound quality, in my opinion.

The neural networks aspect is certainly an interesting angle and would suggest some clever programming is going on in the background. If you have never tried any of Mercuriall Audio’s software then I would urge you to at least download some of its free plug-ins, as the quality is very high across the board.
