Mackie has begun shipping its new pair of digital live mixers with built-in Wi-Fi out, the 16-channel DL16S and 32-channel DL32S. Both models have built-in Wi-Fi networking and can be controlled remotely with the multi-platform Master Fader™ control app. They also have Onyx+ mic preamps, DSP effects on each input and output, and 4 FX processors.

Furthermore, the mixers have full multi-track recording capabilities for both live recordings and playback, allowing for an easy virtual sound check.

In related news, Mackie released Master Fader 5.0, a major update to the Android/iOS control app for its DL-series digital mixers. Currently, it only supports the DL16S and DL32S, while support for other DL Series models plus Mac and PC control is coming in Master Fader 5.1.

Price and availability

The Mackie DL16S and DL32S are available worldwide at participating dealers. Sold individually, the US MSRP pricing is USD 1000 for the DL16S and USD 1820 for the DL32S. The Master Fader 5.0 app is already available as a free download for iOS and Android™ devices.
