In Loopmasters Loopcloud 8, there is a major update that links your local library with the online Loopcloud sample database in different ways.
The Loopcloud platform has always been a convenient way to get exciting new sounds into your productions, and now this ecosystem has been overhauled, incorporating intuitive new workflow features, a more advanced search engine, and a mobile app that lets you find samples or sketch out new ideas on-the-go.

With Inspire, the new AI-assisted tool in Loopmasters Loopcloud 8, you can select a music genre and start generating cohesive layers of drum hits, chord progressions, and loops to serve as foundational templates for building your productions. From the generated results, you can then swap out the layers you feel don’t quite fit, and save your Inspire session on any device as it’s all cloud-based.
Another new Loopcloud 8 feature is the Listen plugin, which typically goes onto your main stereo bus. Listen is a useful tool because it gets a feel of your production and then finds sonic options in the Loopcloud library that suit the style of your track. You can filter the results down if you’re looking for something specific, or leave things open-ended for potential surprises.
To streamline the process of finding sounds and getting them into your projects, Loopmasters has launched the Loopcloud mobile app with Loopcloud 8. Designed as the perfect in-betweener and session prep tool, this useful app lets you browse sounds and check out your Inspire sessions before you jump into studio, and any sounds you save are immediately accessible in your DAW.
In addition, there are five new effects within the integrated processing engine, including TranceGate, Looper, Utility, Chorus, and Bitcrush. The MIDI side also has new audition features, ensuring the right preset or sample is called up to match the MIDI input data. What’s more, there are 2,000 new Flip Instrument presets for spontaneous creativity.
